COMPETE for companies
COMPETE is a non-profit program that helps you access a previously untapped pool of qualified candidates - and helps you reach your diversity goals. COMPETE focuses on helping you fill software development, cybersecurity, and IT support positions.
Built by business, for business
COMPETE is the result of an 18-month pilot in which business and tech executives from both tech-provider and tech-user companies reviewed 1-2 year college techical curricula, assessed student job-readiness - and identified the additional training and experience students required to be successful in tech jobs.
Making it easier and faster to hire qualified staff
COMPETE opens up an untapped pool of talent to your company - students with 1-2 years of focused, technical college training, combined with the work skills training and internship experience necessary to succeed.
Helping you build a more diverse workforce
COMPETE layers business-defined work skills training on top of strong, vetted programs at multiple majority/minority institutions serving Massachusetts residents who can’t afford the cost or time out of the workforce to get a 4-year college degree.
You get access to a curated set of talented, eager, and qualified internship and full-time hire candidates across all COMPETE School Partners - and free participation in dedicated, COMPETE job fairs on all campuses.
