BPS students learn about biotech jobs at Verve Therapeutics

Verve Therapeutics, a Boston-based biotech company advancing gene editing programs to reduce the incidence of liver disease, hosted students from Dorchester’s Murphy Middle School. The students extracted DNA from strawberries, learned about PPE, as practiced quality assurance techniques as well as testing techniques.
